Mid Session: Sensex up 99 pts; Aurionpro Solutions rises 5%

The domestic benchmark indices pared losses to trade higher, with PSU Bank stocks lifting the indices. Among sectors, except infra all other indices are trading in green led by pharma, bank and FMCG. Midcap and smallcap index are trading flat. The share price of Aurionpro Solutions rose 5.5 percent intraday Tuesday after company won an order from a leading public sector bank in India. The company in its press release said that it has won an order from a leading public sector bank in India for setting up of self-servicing KIOSKS at various locations across India.

At 12:19 hours, the SENSEX was trading at 38744.58 up by 99.4 points or by 0.26 per cent and then NSE Nifty was at 11633 up by 38.55 points or by 0.33 per cent. The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 38832.61 and intraday low of 38612.23 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 11645.95 and intraday low of 11582.95.

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex were YES Bank Ltd. (Rs. 243.15,+1.99%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1366.50,+1.61%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 3039.10,+1.59%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 461.25,+1.49%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 160.00,+1.43%), among others. The top losers of the BSE Sensex were NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 133.65,-1.55%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 529.45,-1.09%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2140.80,-1.09%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 317.90,-1.01%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 666.15,-0.86%), among others.

Among sectors, CDS index was at 23872.33 up by 288.88 points or by 1.22%. Rajesh Exports Ltd. (Rs. 724.85,+3.94%), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. (Rs. 237.65,+2.22%), Voltas Ltd. (Rs. 620.25,+1.31%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 1132.15,+0.91%), VIP Industries Ltd. (Rs. 464.00,+0.75%),. On the other hand, CGS index was at 18205.85 down by -16.71 points or by -0.09%. HEG Ltd. (Rs. 1863.70,-3.40%), Graphite India Ltd. (Rs. 422.00,-2.41%), Finolex Cables Ltd. (Rs. 457.20,-1.93%), Dilip Buildcon Ltd. (Rs. 618.50,-1.87%), Suzlon Energy Ltd. (Rs. 6.67,-1.77%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 2412, shares advanced were 1155 while 1086 shares declined and 171 were unchanged.
